The FTN Rescue, Lucy and Daisy Funds
Supporting Our Beloved Fox Terriers
Fox Terrier Network is dedicated to helping Fox Terrier critters, parents, adoptees and rescues, when it can, through three funds administered by the FTN board: the FTN Rescue, Lucy and Daisy Funds.
Funded through FTN membership dues and private donations, these initiatives aim to enhance the quality and longevity of life for these dogs.
The Fox Terrier Network Rescue Fund
The Fox Terrier Network Rescue Fund has been established to help cover some of the veterinary costs of Smooth and Wire Fox Terriers in nonprofit rescues, specifically when the rescue lacks appropriate financial resources to cover medical aor travel expenses.
Eligibility for funding extends to shelters, and organizations specifically caring for purebred Smooth or Wire Fox Terriers. Applicants must provide proof of nonprofit status and a Taxpayer Identification number.
See formal guidelines and required applications.
The Fox Terrier Lucy Fund
The FTN Lucy Fund goal is to help with the medical needs of Smooth and Wire Fox Terriers that exceed an owner’s financial capability. Historically, the Fund has helped pay for procedures and treatments associated with emergency medical conditions and life-threatening diseases where a positive outcome is likely.
Eligibility is limited to Fox Terrier Network members who have maintained membership for at least one year and remain in good standing.
See application guidelines and forms.
The Fox Terrier Daisy Fund
Similar to the Lucy Fund, the Daisy Fund is designed to help with a newly adopted (or an adoption in progress) Wire or Smooth Fox Terrier in need of medical attention. In some circumstances, adoptees may be reluctant to take on a new pet with medical conditions. The Daisy Fund is meant to help pay for some of these costs and increase the likelihood of a successful adoption and the long life of the Fox Terrier.
